About this Episode
With almost 13 years in law enforcement, I’ve experienced multiple high-stress life and death situations. One way that has helped me deal with the stress has been exercising. My thought was maybe since the gym and exercise has helped me deal with stress and issues it could help Military Veterans & First Responders.
Will talks about why he got into law enforcement and how it was engrained in him from a young age
How he married law enforcement and fitness training together as a way to relieve stress and later PTSD and how he is using his exercise program to help veterans and first responders.
How he opened his business and grew it to 55-clients. He also discusses the number of military veterans and the high rate of suicide and why physical fitness training is important because it creates community.
His idea of offering a free 1-year membership for military veterans via his WillBInspired charity and how that has blossomed to inspirational retreats, trips, conferences, mental health retreats, a charitable golf tournament, etc.
Where he hopes the organization will be in five years.

Advice to young people about going into law enforcement. Things you have to be worried about that you did not have to worry about. The decrease in respect for law enforcement. Advice: know what you’re getting into, do your research, and get prepared physically and mentally. Sometimes you have to go through some challenges before you can fully decide law enforcement is for you. Why he prefers tasing over pepper spray.
